Sculptural rather than conventional, this black linear pendant light is designed around an elongated, branch-like silhouette inspired by the irregular character of charred timber. Instead of using real wood, the body is formed from fiberglass reinforced plastic, allowing the fixture to achieve its distinctive organic shape while maintaining a clean contemporary appearance.
The integrated LED is discreetly positioned along the underside of the pendant, creating a ribbon of illumination that follows the uneven contours of the fixture. When switched off, the deeply textured black form reads almost like a suspended sculptural object; when illuminated, the concealed light highlights the contrast between its dark exterior and glowing lower edge.
Minimal suspension cables keep attention on the long horizontal profile and give the pendant a visually light, floating appearance despite its strong form. 90 cm Version
The more compact option works well where you want the distinctive sculptural effect without allowing the fixture to visually dominate the furniture beneath it.
130 cm Version
The longer version creates a broader horizontal statement and is particularly effective above substantial dining tables, longer kitchen islands and larger open-plan settings.
Because the pendant has an intentionally irregular profile, its visual presence is different from that of a conventional rectangular linear light. Consider both the overall length and the surrounding negative space when selecting a size.
Installation Notes
This is a hardwired ceiling fixture and should be installed by a suitably qualified electrician.
The suspension cables can be adjusted during installation to achieve the preferred overall hanging height. The design uses minimal cable suspension so the pendant body remains the primary visual feature.
