Description

This black caged ceiling fan with light brings bold farmhouse character and strong, quiet airflow to larger rooms. Five 52" / 132 cm span reversible blades sweep around a matte black motor housing, while an open wire cage light below shelters the bulbs and adds a touch of industrial charm.

Each blade has a rich wood grain finish on one side and a sleek black finish on the other. Fit them wood side down for a warm, rustic look, or black side down for a bolder, more modern feel.

A high efficiency 35W pure copper DC motor runs at under 35dB, producing strong airflow across six speeds. Run it forward for summer cooling or reverse it in winter to circulate warm air back down from the ceiling. Manage the speeds, light and timer with the included remote, the app or your wall switch.

The wire cage light holds two E26 bulbs, and bulbs are included. Sockets are rated max 60W (LED max 7W), and LED bulbs are recommended. Vintage style filament bulbs look especially good inside the cage.

Size and Placement

Sized for rooms of approx. 15 x 15 ft to 20 x 20 ft / 4.6 x 4.6 m to 6.1 x 6.1 m, including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, rumpus rooms and studies. Two downrods are included, 5" / 12.7 cm and 8" / 20.3 cm, so you can set the right hanging height, and it suits flat and sloped ceilings. Installation Guide

Before you start

This is a hardwired ceiling fan and should be installed by a licensed electrician, following your local electrical codes.
A ceiling fan must be mounted to a fan-rated box or support that can carry the weight and movement of the fan. Ask your electrician to confirm your ceiling is suitable.
Check the size and blade span in Product Specifications, and allow enough clearance from walls, furniture and the floor.

Installation overview

Turn off power at the switchboard and confirm the wires are not live.
Remove the existing fixture, if replacing one.
Fix the mounting bracket to a fan-rated support at the wiring point.
Assemble and hang the fan as shown in the manual.
Connect the live (active), neutral and earth wires as shown in the manual.
Attach the blades and any light components, where fitted, and secure the canopy.
Restore power and test the fan and light on each setting.

Care

Switch off and wait for the blades to stop completely before cleaning.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners.
