Natural Alabaster Staircase LED Wall Sconce

Designed as both a light source and a sculptural wall feature, this alabaster wall sconce combines natural stone with a distinctive stepped composition. Individual alabaster panels are arranged vertically in a staircase-like formation, creating a strong architectural rhythm that becomes increasingly pronounced across the two-, three- and four-head configurations.

Each panel is formed from genuine white alabaster, a naturally translucent stone characterised by individual veining, tonal shifts and subtle markings. When illuminated, the integrated LED shines through the stone rather than simply projecting from the fixture, revealing the alabaster's internal patterning while creating a soft, diffused glow around the wall. Because the material naturally varies, every fixture develops its own visual character.

Available from a compact single-panel design through to a 58 cm-high four-panel configuration, the collection can be used as a restrained bedside or hallway accent or as a more substantial vertical feature along staircases, entryways and living-room walls. Its narrow 15 cm profile keeps the composition visually controlled, while the larger configurations introduce greater height and repetition without requiring a wide section of wall.

Each shade uses real alabaster stone with naturally occurring differences in veining, translucency and colour, giving every fixture an individual appearance rather than a perfectly uniform manufactured surface.

Sculptural Staircase Composition
The offset arrangement of the stone panels creates a distinctive stepped silhouette, allowing the fixture to function as an architectural wall feature even when switched off.

Stone-Diffused Illumination
Light passes through the translucent alabaster, softening the output while highlighting the stone's internal patterning and creating a gentle halo around the fixture.

Natural Alabaster Variation

Alabaster is a natural mineral stone, so variations in veining, translucency, markings and tonal warmth are expected. The exact pattern of each panel cannot be identical to the product photography or another fixture, and these differences form part of the natural character of the material rather than being considered defects.

Lighting & Dimming Information

The Warm Light and Cool Light versions operate as standard non-dimmable fixtures. For adjustable brightness, select the Triac Dimmable Warm Light version and pair it with a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer. The dimmer itself is not included.

Size & Placement Guide

The 1-head version provides the most compact architectural accent and works particularly well where a smaller wall feature is required. The 2-head version introduces a more noticeable vertical composition, while the 3 and 4-head versions create progressively greater presence for staircases, tall walls, entryways and larger living areas.

Because every configuration remains only 15 cm / 5.9″ wide, the larger versions increase visual impact primarily through height rather than excessive width.

Is this wall light hardwired or plug-in?

What height should I install this wall light at?

A standard wall light installation height is around 150–170 cm from the floor to the center of the fitting, roughly around eye level. For reading lights beside a bed or sofa, position the fitting slightly lower so the light falls comfortably over your shoulder.

Does this wall light shine up, down, or both?
