Description

This ribbed glass outdoor wall light gives an entrance a tall, architectural presence. A slim black stainless steel frame holds a panel of clear, vertically ribbed glass, finished with layered horizontal plates at the top and base that give the sconce a balanced, almost lantern like silhouette. Its elongated proportions add strong vertical lines beside a front door, garage or along an exterior wall.

When the light is on, the fluted glass softens the LED and breaks it into fine layered reflections, creating a decorative glow rather than a bare beam. Ribbed glass also hides the light source from direct view and keeps the glow even and comfortable for guests arriving at night, and pairs well with fluted cladding, battens and slatted screens.

Choose the power supply that suits your home. The hardwired version uses an approx. 12W integrated LED in warm white 3000K, operated by your wall switch, ideal for a front entry or porch where you want reliable light every night. The solar version uses an approx. 6W integrated LED with three selectable colour temperatures (3000K, 4500K and 6000K), a 4000mAh rechargeable battery and a remote control, giving approximately 6 to 8 hours of light after sufficient sunlight with no wiring needed. Solar runtime can vary with weather, season and sun exposure.

The integrated LED is included in both versions.

Size and Placement

The 15.7" / 40 cm height suits standard front doors, side entries and courtyard walls. The 23.6" / 60 cm height suits taller entries, double doors, garage walls and larger facades. Mount one either side of a front door for a symmetrical welcome, run several along a patio or alfresco wall, or use the solar version on fences, gates and garden walls where there is no power.

Rated IP55, it resists everyday dust, moisture and rain on a porch, balcony, deck or exterior wall.

Installation Notes

The hardwired version requires installation by a licensed electrician, following local electrical codes. The solar version needs no wiring; mount it where the panel receives good direct sunlight.

This is a hardwired wall fixture and should be installed by a licensed electrician, following your local electrical codes.
If installing near a shower or bath, ask your electrician to confirm the location meets local bathroom wiring rules.

Installation overview

Turn off power at the switchboard and confirm the wires are not live.
Remove the existing fixture, if replacing one.
Fix the backplate to the wall at the wiring point, using fixings suited to your wall type.
Connect the live (active), neutral and earth wires as shown in the manual.
Secure the light to the backplate.
Restore power and test the light.

Care

Switch off and allow the light to cool before cleaning.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners.
